Transport by bike taxi…

In addition to tootling around town, giving rideabouts and laying down the love, I am working toward creating a LOVE BIKE fleet to service the (coming soon!) mobility hubs around the west side of Bend.  As Bend becomes an even more highly likeable place to be, micromobility will be a welcome help in getting folks around this wonderful place.  With the recently announced e-bike and e-scooter share coming to town, LOVE BIKE will join this network of future forward folks in providing clean, safe and enjoyable transportation options available to our town. I intend to participate in this long awaited and much needed network with one love bike in the near term and a fleet in the future.  I am also looking for grant opportunities to grow and subsidize the cost of rides so that LOVE BIKE is accessible to more people as practical transportation. Please send them my way!

I’m working toward this with the support of Commute Options and the city of Bend. There are multiple mobility points slated for locations all over town.   LOVE BIKE will stay on the west side of town, traveling our existing network of connected, slow, safe biking routes.  We’ll venture out to more mobility hubs as they become available and as our growing safe bike/ped infrastructure comes into reality. I’m especially excited about this and feel so happy to be part of creating a smart, safe, reliable transportation network. I am a proud transportation nerd - can you tell?
